Update

Ryan and Cara have been counting down the days until the big day. We got our apartment earlier this month, which is really close to campus and has two bedrooms, in case we get a new resident sometime :) We have everything done and ready for the wedding; Cara is trying on her dress tomorrow to make sure it fits. We went down to Vegas the weekend of July 19th so that Cara could go through the temple for the first time and receive her endowments. She also had a bridal shower with relatives and in-laws. Ryan's birthday was July 19th, so it was nice to spend it with his family. Of course he had pizza for dinner and rainbow chip cake. He also got to see Batman: The Dark Knight that evening with his lovely fiance, although she didn't care for it at all (Ryan thought it was one of the best movies ever, though). That's all for now. Me & Cara

So yesterday, Cara and I went up to Tahoe. We had dinner at Rosie's, a cute little restaurant, and then walked on the beach. After walking for a bit, I sat her down on a rock and sang her the song from the Wedding Singer. I then got down on one knee and asked her to marry me. She said 'Yes'.

One Ring To Rule Them All

Well, Emily persuaded me to start a blog. She wanted me to post pictures of the ring. I was planning on proposing next Thursday but Cara wanted to go to Tahoe today. So I figured I might as well do it now. As soon as I get Cara's camera, I'll put up some pictures of us when we went to Tahoe.
