New Life

So in the past month a lot of things have happened. Cara flew down to Las Vegas the week before the wedding to get some things organized. Ryan had to stay in Reno because his class went until August 14th. Ryan was sad he didn't see Cara for so long, but he had his friends and Halo to keep him busy. Dane flew up to accompany Ryan on the long trip down to Vegas; that was greatly appreciated. Saturday, August 16th, was the big day. The sealing at the Las Vegas temple was in the afternoon and was wonderful. That night, Cara and Ryan stayed at the Luxor for their wedding night. The next day we drove up to Pine Valley. Sue Broadbent let us stay at her cabin for our honeymoon. We had an awesome time in Utah: we went to Zion national park, Snow Canyon, saw a movie, went shopping, saw Taming of the Shrew among other things. We got back to Vegas on a Friday. We rented a Penske truck to haul up our presents and some furniture Cara's mom gave us. We went to our new ward and met the bishopric and some members. School started the Monday after we got back from our honeymoon; so we had to back into the swing of things pretty quick. For Labor Day, Cara, Ryan, Justin and Roselia went to Emerald Bay at Lake Tahoe and had a picnic. Last night Cara and Ryan went to Silver Legacy to see the comedian Brian Regan. Both of us were laughing the whole time. Regan is a great comedian and uses clean language. Ever since we have moved into our apartment, we have been organizing it so it is more like a home. We are very grateful for everyone who came to our wedding and for all their support. We love you all.
